Is it just me being thick or has there been changes in WordPress that I am unaware of. I have tried to reply to two people who commented on my last post without a great deal of success.. It is, I suppose, quite possible there have been changes because I have not really been near the computer for a while. I just don’t know what is happening…

I find I am having to sign in again to comment on some blogs at the moment. Not sure whether to blame a new version of WordPress or of Safari on my iPad.

I’ve been having that same issue, plus once I get signed in my comments disappear.

Very bizarre. Sometimes mine disappear but I later get a reply so they must reappear. The wonders of technology, eh?

I hate the ‘new, improved’ version (I learned long ago I cannot leave comments or like posts in Safari, having to go through the stalking Chrome browser). WP’s recent changes are a bloody nightmare and rank right up there with their dumb block editor. I told the geniuses (aka Happiness Coaches) at WP to stop trying to fix something that’s not broke. It’s annoying as all get out. I can never comment without having 2/3 of the screen obliterated by two columns of notifications that cannot be dismissed. I’ve learned to copy my initial comment and then re-sign in in order to leave a comment. Ugh. What a pain.
